To further fuel your interest, below is a guide on what life as a student is like in Singapore.

Expectedly, Singapore houses some of the world’s best universities, allowing students from across the world to expand their horizons and maximise their potential. The nation’s higher education is supported by the latest technology and top industry connections, which promotes cutting edge learning, whilst still being affordable. Off campus, you will find almost everything under the sun to keep you entertained. Water sports, underground malls, safaris, rooftop bars, nature trails, theme parks…the list goes on! Moreover, travelling around the city is convenient and affordable, thanks to the country’s efficient public transport system. Food and Culture

Malaysian students need not worry about “culture shock” as the food, weather and culture are quite similar to Malaysia’s. Most Singaporeans can speak fluent English, so language barriers are practically non-existent. In terms of food, you will find a large variety of Chinese, Indian and Malay diners, hawker centres and other types of Asian and Western cuisines. Additionally, Singapore has a strong work and learning culture, which will keep you on your toes and motivate you to achieve the most challenging of goals.

Safety and Socialising

With an extremely low crime rate, a welcoming community and excellent economic infrastructure, it’s no wonder Singapore is ranked #13 in the QS Best Student Cities 2023. As a country, Singapore is known for its diverse and vibrant landscape, making it an exciting place for adventure and exploration. If you need extra support, campus staff and faculty will happily provide the needed guidance, whether it’s in pursuing a passion, strengthening a community or simply supporting students as they embark on this new chapter of their lives. Pursuing your education in Singapore will undoubtedly secure your ticket to a brighter future.
