IES Foundation Year – for the University of Quensland

IES College is an independent, secular, co-educational not for profit senior high school for Year 11 and 12 students. It is located in Spring Hill, Brisbane and they are partnered with The University of Queensland to offer a number of educational services, including university pathway programmes, high achiever programmes and English pathway programmes.

IES Foundation Year and STEM High Achievers programme’s subjects are developed collabratively by the college and the senior academics from The University of Queensland. Modules are designed based on the content that is required for their tertiary study progression to the university.

Students are accessible to the university’s facilities such as the library, scientific laboratories, computer networks, sporting and recreational facilities, and even the university’s student social clubs and social facilities. Students are guaranteed with a place at their chosen course at The University of Queensland, subject to them meeting the needed entry requirements.
