Institute of Education (Dublin)
The Institute of Education is currently one of the largest private secondary schools in Ireland and provides expert tuition for 4th, 5th and 6th Year students. Besides preparing students for the Leaving Certificate, fourth year students at the Institute have the option to study a selection of subjects from the Cambridge International GCSE programme (IGCSE) and CEFR Language exams.
The Institute of Education is home to a team of highly qualified teachers who encourage an enthusiasm for learning. Dedicated, experienced and committed, many work as correctors and chief examiners for the State Examinations Commission. Intensive five-day revision courses are also available during normal school holidays at Christmas, Easter, winter mid-term break, in May and August, while study skills seminars are available in September.
The Institute’s student support team is a central part of the Institute and is committed to working with students. Fully qualified Guidance Counsellors are available to all students throughout the year. Extra-Curricular and Sports & Fitness Programmes encourage students to take take part in a range of activities. Regular study skills seminars and compulsory supervised study ensure that students are provided with the right skills and environment to reach their full academic potential.
