Prince of Wales Island International School

The Prince of Wales Island International School (POWIIS) started in 2011 and has rapidly established a local, national and international reputation as one of Malaysia’s most significant schools. 85% of its teaching staff are experienced teahers from the UK and there are 43 nationalities represented at POWIIS. The school offers a broad and balanced education based on the English National Curriculum for students aged 11-18. In September of 2019, its brand new purpose built primary school for children aged 3-11. POWIIS now uniquely offers two purpose built campuses, each offering outstanding teaching and age appropriate facilities to ensure every child has a sure pathway to success.
