Introduction

My name is Leann and I’m 24 years old. I studied Bachelor’s of Communications majoring in Media at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. I was abroad from March 2018 to June 2019.

Why did you choose RMIT in Australia?

I chose RMIT because I’ve always wanted to study abroad and have always found Melbourne a very beautiful city. Additionally, it just so happened that my dad’s friend’s daughter was studying at RMIT as well, and she recommended me to come because the facilities and courses were really good.

How was your university experience?

My university experience was really great, it was pretty exciting and adventurous, because it was my first time studying abroad and not living with family. I stayed in Melbourne city itself, which was really convenient for me to go to classes and any other places. I also worked as a freelancer during my stay in Melbourne, doing many types of jobs such as video editing, graphic designing, pet sitting etc. I also loved exploring the city with my friends, trying out new food at different restaurants and cafes.

What was your favourite memory in Australia?

My favourite memory in Australia is getting to travel around to different parts of Australia with my friends. The scenery in Australia is just so beautiful and I really enjoyed the culture over there.

How did JM help you throughout the application process?

JM gave me many details and insights about the university of my choice and made my transition from Malaysia to Australia extremely smooth. There were no hiccups faced throughout the entire process.

Would you recommend JM to others?

I think JM is very trustworthy and efficient. They get the job done without any hassle and I would definitely recommend JM to others. I have no regrets choosing JM.
