La Trobe is in the top 1.1% of universities worldwide (Times Higher Education (THE) 2019).

In the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2020, La Trobe University ranked in the top 20 in Australia — Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) labelled the University’s research as “well above world standard”.

La Trobe University recently revitalised its range of scholarships to support international students with their studies and to recognise their academic achievements. On top of the list is the La Trobe International Scholarship. This scholarship offers up to a 30% reduction on the annual tuition fee for the entire course duration.

To be considered, you must be a commencing international student undertaking an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree. You must also meet the University’s academic and English language entry requirements at the commencement date of your course.

Recently, La Trobe University is offering the La Trobe University Offshore Online Bursary to students who have been disadvantaged by the Australian border closure. This is a top-up fee reduction of up to 35 per cent in recognition that students cannot experience the on-campus experience, services, and facilities while they are offshore. The Offshore Online Bursary will only be available for the online subjects a student completes while located offshore and is void once they resume their studies at one of our campuses in Australia.

International students are also eligible for the Early Bird Acceptance Grant. If you accept your offer to start an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree in 2022 by the acceptance deadline, you’ll get a 5% discount on your first-year tuition fees.
