University of Otago
Founded in 1869, Otago is New Zealand’s first University. In years since, Otago has prided themselves on being a research-led University with an international reputation for excellence. It is ranked 184 in the 2020/21 QS World University Rankings and in the top 100 in 15 subject areas, and first received a Five Stars Plus QS Stars University rating in 2016. Most undergraduate and postgraduate study takes place at the Dunedin campus, but the University also has Schools of Medicine and Health Sciences in Wellington and Christchurch, home to many leading medical researchers. The University of Otago offers a broad-spectrum of graduate-level, Ph.D. and postgraduate-level programs in several fields of education like finance, economics, entrepreneurship, business, management, marketing, medicine, pharmacy, law, arts, social sciences, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and computer science.
