HELP University was founded in 1986 to provide affordable quality educational opportunities for Malaysians. HELP’s experienced and dedicated faculty members have nurtured local and international students to obtain 1st Class Honours degrees awarded by the aforementioned prestigious universities.

In 2020, HELP was ranked No. 1 among 650 universities in Asia for Outbound Student Exchange programmes in the globally recognised Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Ranking: Asia 2021. It was also ranked in the top 50 universities in Asia as a host for international students to study in Malaysia. HELP is the preferred choice for its high-quality specialist disciplines, including postgraduate programmes.

Moreover, HELP was also ranked 100 for inbound student exchange programmes for postgraduate courses and student mobility programmes. It is seen as an attractive home for quality international academics and is ranked 151 in Asia for international faculty. Overall, HELP was ranked in the 401-450 category, placing it in the top 60% of Asian universities.

Earlier in the year, HELP University became the only university in Asia to achieve 5 Stars in 9 categories of the QS Stars Rating System which benchmarks universities against global best practices.

The QS Stars Rating confirms that HELP University delivers world-class standards in key areas including teaching, employability, internationalisation, facilities and academic development, as
well as a 5-Star rating in social responsibility and inclusiveness and in specialist areas such as business and management for our MBA programme and for online learning across all of our programmes.

A huge sum of investment is put into staff development and training as part of HELP’s aspiration to create the “Analytics Generation” or “A*Gen” as it is also recognised as a Premier Digital Tech Institution (PDTI) by MDEC for the use of technology in the programmes.
