Oxford Sixth Form College

Oxford Sixth Form College offers an environment quite different from that of a traditional school. The teaching approach is refreshingly interactive and informal. The emphasis on small group work enables a clear focus on individual needs and learning styles and a variation of pace and emphasis, which helps students to approach their work calmly and objectively. The support provided both by subject tutors and Senior Tutors is thoughtful and creative and students are encouraged to take an active part in the learning process through self-motivation, involvement, personal study and research. Various extra- curricular activities are offered enabling students to explore and develop the skills they will need in later life.

The college celebrates and welcomes the cultural diversity, ambition and global outlook that international students bring to the college and aim to give international students the best UK education experience. Students at Oxford Sixth Form College progress to a wide range of degree programmes at top U.K. universities including business management, economics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, medicine, law and more, with 75% of students gaining entry to their first-choice university in 2020.

Alongside two-year A-Levels, the college offers BTEC Business Plus where students study an A-Level alongside their BTEC Business course and a one year A-level programme. The college also offers the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY), giving students access to over 100 universities worldwide. IFY Pathways include Engineering, Business and Science, which has routes to Medicine. September and January start dates are available.

Scholarships are awarded to Malaysian students; up to 40% for A Level and BTEC, and up to 20% for IFY. Students will have to sit a scholarship paper in order to be considered.
