SENTRAL College Penang was established in 2002 with the aspiration to be a tertiary education platform for youths. Today,19 years forward SENTRAL is thriving in the hustle and bustle at the heritage enclave of George Town to produce engaging graduates to serve the community. It reaffirms its founding goal and is committed to its Vision:  “To be an impactful and significant institution, fostering program relevance, creative thinking and institutional excellence.” SENTRAL College Penang endeavors to follow a consistent thread through its Vision and Mission down through its strategic plan and processes that coordinate across the College.

The strategic objectives are time-bound with measurable result to be achieved in order to move the College along towards its Mission: “To provide excellent education through nurturing, inspiring and creating a conducive learning environment that will prepare students for dynamic careers, meaningful lives and to be compassionate citizens in a global society.”  SENTRAL holds the KementerianDalamNegeri (KDN) license to recruit international students. To all local and international students, SENTRAL seeks to provide equal opportunities for quality education; accelerate their absorption capacity and support and enhance career progress. It wants to be able to nurture students to reach the pinnacle of their potentials. As such SENTRAL actively participated in the Star Education Fund Scholarship and Sin Chew Education Fund. It also offers SENTRAL Merit Scholarship, SENTRAL HOPE Scholarship (for families under the B40 category), SENTRAL CARE Scholarship (for single parent, student or parent classified as Orang KelainanUpaya [OKU]).     T

he effort to actively develop its students has gained the credit and recognition of institutions where students sponsored by Yayasan Peneraju, Sin Chew Scholarship and Fastron Sdn Bhd are registered with the College.   From its proven track record, SENTRAL was invited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) to receive the Platinum Approved Learning Partner status since 2013 to present. It is the only college in the Northern Region to hold this prestigious status. Not resting on its laurel. SENTRAL seeks continuous improvement and is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified College, recipient of NAPEL Education Excellence Award, Sin Chew Education Award and a 5-Star Rating from MyQuest.   SENTRAL College Penang endeavors to realize its Vision steadily but surely, all within the context of mutual respect, active learning and caring, liberty and justice, adopting the best education practices aligned with the National Education Philosophy.
