The University of Kansas

University of Kansas is a member of the prestigious Association of American Universities who emphasizes strongly on academic research and was ranked #124 in the National Universities 2021. The university main campus is located in Lawrence with other satellite campuses, medical centres and research centres across Kansas. Due to the tremendous amount of on-going research activity, the university was categorised under the R1: Doctoral University. With more than 5000 courses offered in the university, students have more than 200 undergraduate field of study to choose from. The Jayhawk spirit does not only reflect in the university academic performances but also in the school curriculum activities where the success was marked by 13 National Championship. Clyde Tombough, the American astronomer who discovered Pluto was the alumni of the University of Kansas.
