University of Massachusetts

Established in 1863, University of Massachusetts (UMass) was ranked #66 in National Universities 2021. It is a public universities system with 5 campuses located in Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell, and Worcester. UMass is a sole institution that has public research system within the commonwealth despite there are hundreds of universities located within Massachusetts.
