Introduction
Hi, my name is Athirah, I’m 23 years old. I have a Bachelor’s in Dentistry from the University of Adelaide.
How was your university experience?
It was really fun to be honest. I made a lot of good friends and I joined a few student organizations as well. I also managed to travel and explore many places throughout my time there.
What is your favourite thing about Adelaide?
I’m the kind of person who enjoys peace and nature, so Adelaide is the perfect place for me. I like that it’s quiet and peaceful but at the same time not boring at all.
What are your honest thoughts on the University of Adelaide?
I feel like they are very supportive. If I ever have any problems, I could just go to the student services and someone will be there to help me right away. In terms of studying experience, all my lecturers were very friendly and helpful. I could just shoot them an email anytime and they would respond.
Why did you choose to study abroad starting right from your Pre-U?
I thought it would be a good idea to start early and I wanted to experience living independently at a young age. I’m glad that I did.
Was travelling abroad harder considering you were still underage?
Not really actually. JM helped me with all the application processes, such as Visa and college application. From what I remember, I applied with my SPM results and once I got accepted and my Visa was approved, I travelled with my dad to Adelaide to settle my accommodation and my college entrance.
Would you recommend for others to study their pre-u overseas?
Yes definitely. It really helped me to be more independent and confident on my own. I also was able to develop my soft skills. So, if you have the chance to study your pre-u overseas, don't be afraid to do grab it while you can.
How did JM help you throughout the application process?
JM basically did everything for me, including my Visa and pre-u application. All I had to do was sign a few documents and confirm a few details and the rest was done by them, which was amazing. They also gave me regular updates on the status of my application.
Would you recommend JM to others?
Yes definitely! My brother and my younger sister also used JM to apply for their higher education and we were very happy with the services provided by them. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and so I would highly recommend JM.
